Job Overview:

We are actively seeking a distinguished Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of focused experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of fire protection systems. This includes expertise in FM200 automatic suppression systems, fire pump networks, and fire alarm systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of fire safety protocols and possess advanced technical skills in modern design software and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive System Design: Lead the engineering design process for FM200 and fire protection systems, including hydraulic calculations, system layout, and component selection to ensure efficiency and compliance with applicable codes.
• Advanced Technical Schematics: Utilize industry-standard design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Visio, and similar) to create intricate technical drawings and schematics, ensuring clarity and precision for installation teams.
• Fire Pump Networks: Design and optimize fire pump systems, ensuring adequate water supply, pressure, and flow rates in accordance with NFPA and other relevant standards.
• Regulatory Adherence: Maintain thorough knowledge of and ensure strict compliance with national and international standards (such as NFPA, IFC) related to fire safety and suppression systems.
• Rigorous System Testing: Develop and implement a robust testing protocol to evaluate system efficacy, troubleshoot potential issues, and ensure systems meet performance benchmarks prior to project completion.
• Project Management Collaboration: Engage in collaborative project management activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project specifications and schedules.
• Technical Training & Development: Design and conduct comprehensive training programs for staff and clients on system operation, maintenance procedures, and best practices in fire safety.
• Continual Improvement Initiatives: Identify opportunities for system enhancements and optimizations, leveraging industry innovations and emerging technologies to improve operational effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in fire protection engineering, particularly with FM200 systems, fire pump networks, and related technologies.
• Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in design and engineering software, including but not limited to AutoCAD, Revit, Visio, and other relevant tools for creating detailed schematics and 3D models.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong ability to read, interpret, and create complex technical documentation, including specifications and installation manuals.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Extensive understanding of fire protection legislation, codes, and standards, with a proven record of ensuring compliance in previous roles.
• Language Proficiency: Exceptional command of the English language, with demonstrated ability to draft detailed reports and deliver presentations.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: High-level analytical skills, enabling effective identification and resolution of technical issues under tight deadlines.
• Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., in Fire Protection Engineering Technology) are strongly preferred.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

• تصميم أنظمة متكاملة: قيادة عملية التصميم الهندسي لأنظمة FM200 وأنظمة الحماية من الحرائق، بما في ذلك الحسابات الهيدروليكية وتخطيط النظام واختيار المكونات لضمان الكفاءة والامتثال للمعايير المطلوبة.
• الرسومات الفنية المتقدمة: استخدام برامج التصميم القياسية في الصناعة مثل AutoCAD، Revit،Visio  لإنشاء رسومات فنية دقيقة وواضحة لففرق التركيب.
• شبكات مضخات الحريق: تصميم وتحسين أنظمة مضخات الحريق لضمان توفير إمدادات مياه كافية مع الضغط ومعدلات التدفق وفقًا لمعايير NFPA والمعايير الأخرى ذات الصلة.
• الامتثال للأنظمة: الحفاظ على معرفة شاملة بمعايير السلامة من الحرائق المحلية والدولية مثل  NFPA،IFC  وضمان الالتزام بها.
• اختبار الأنظمة بدقة: تطوير وتنفيذ بروتوكولات اختبار صارمة لتقييم فعالية النظام، واستكشاف الأخطاء، وضمان تحقيق الأداء المطلوب قبل تسليم المشروع.
• التعاون في إدارة المشاريع: العمل مع فرق متعددة التخصصات لضمان التسليم في الوقت المحدد والالتزام بالمواصفات والجداول الزمنية.
• التدريب الفني: تصميم وتنفيذ برامج تدريبية للفريق والعملاء حول تشغيل الأنظمة وإجراءات الصيانة وأفضل ممارسات السلامة من الحرائق.
• تحسين مستمر: تحديد فرص تحسين الأنظمة باستخدام الابتكارات التقنية لزيادة الفعالية التشغيلية.

المهارات والمؤهلات المطلوبة:

• المؤهل الأكاديمي: درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الميكانيكية أو تخصص ذي صلة من جامعة معتمدة.
• الخبرة المهنية: 5 سنوات على الأقل في هندسة الحماية من الحرائق، خاصة في أنظمة FM200 ومضخات الحريق.
• خبرة في البرامج: إتقان متقدم لبرامج التصميم مثل AutoCAD، Revit،  Visio لإنشاء مخططات ورسومات ثلاثية الأبعاد.
• المهارات الفنية: القدرة على قراءة وتفسير وإنشاء الوثائق الفنية المعقدة مثل كتيبات التركيب والمواصفات.
