Job Description

Job Purpose

The IT & VM System Administrator will be responsible for managing and developing the virtual environment (VMware / Hyper-V) and the IT department's server infrastructure, ensuring the stability, security, and business continuity of operating systems in accordance with high financial security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Virtualization Management: Build, manage, monitor, and update virtual machines (VMs), and efficiently allocate CPU, RAM, and storage resources.
• Storage & Virtual Networking: Connect servers to storage systems (SAN/NAS) and manage virtual networks (vSwitches/vLANs) to ensure environment separation and data security.
• Backup & Recovery: Implement periodic server backup plans using tools such as Veeam and conduct Disaster Recovery testing.
• Patch Management & Security Maintenance: Apply critical and periodic updates to operating systems (Linux / Windows Server) and virtualization platforms to address security vulnerabilities.
• Performance & Capacity Management: Continuously monitor server performance indicators and anticipate future resource requirements to prevent service interruptions.
• Identity & Access Management (IAM): Manage employee and system accounts through Active Directory or LDAP while applying the principle of least privilege.
• Internal IT Environment Support: Provide technical support for IT servers and devices and resolve technical issues related to operating systems.

Requirements & Key Skills

• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in system administration and virtualization environments, preferably within the banking or Fintech sector.
• Professional Certifications: Certifications such as VCP (VMware Certified Professional), MCSA/MCSE, or Red Hat (RHCSA) are preferred.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of virtualization platforms, Linux and Windows Server operating systems, and backup tools.
