About the Role

We are MENA Development Valley (MDV) Association, a social consulting firm based in the MENA region and the UK, working closely with donors and international NGOs to support governance, civil society, and development initiatives across the region.
We are seeking a highly qualified Adult Training and Curriculum Development Expert to lead the design and delivery of social accountability training programs in Yemen. This position is a key role in a development cooperation initiative aimed at strengthening citizen engagement and public sector responsiveness through participatory learning.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing training needs, developing curricula, conducting capacity-building sessions, and ensuring high-quality learning delivery and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and social accountability analyses
• Design and develop a social accountability curriculum tailored to local governance contexts
• Create and adapt training packages and materials for adult learners using participatory methods
• Deliver trainings across Yemen and produce timely, results-oriented reports
• Ensure quality control in all training activities and materials

Required Qualifications

Education and Training

• Master’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field

Languages

• Arabic: Full professional proficiency (C2)
• English: Advanced proficiency (C1)

Professional Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in adult education and curriculum development
• Proven expertise in participatory approaches for engaging civil society and public sector actors
• At least 3 years of experience in:
  • Delivering trainings and coaching sessions
  • Developing training materials and conducting community outreach
  • Facilitating citizen participation and dialogue in local governance
  • Promoting interactive and inclusive learning environments

Regional and Development Experience

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience working in Yemen
• At least 3 years working in development, NGOs and public sector projects

Additional Skills

• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality reports, training documentation, and presentations
• Skilled in facilitation and use of participatory learning techniques for diverse audiences

نبحث عن خبير/ة مؤهل/ة في التدريب وتطوير المناهج التعليمية لقيادة تصميم وتنفيذ برامج تدريبية حول المساءلة المجتمعية في اليمن. يلعب هذا الدور دورًا رئيسيًا ضمن مبادرة للتعاون التنموي تهدف إلى تعزيز مشاركة المواطنين وتحسين استجابة القطاع العام من خلال التعلم التشاركي.
سيكون المرشح/ة الناجح/ة مسؤولًا عن تقييم احتياجات التدريب، وتطوير المناهج، وتنفيذ جلسات بناء القدرات، وضمان جودة تنفيذ التعلم وتوثيقه.

المهام الرئيسية

• إجراء تقييمات شاملة للاحتياجات وتحليلات حول المساءلة المجتمعية
• تصميم وتطوير منهج تدريبي يتناسب مع سياقات الحوكمة المحلية
• إعداد وتكييف حزم تدريبية ومواد تعليمية تستهدف البالغين باستخدام أساليب تشاركية
• تنفيذ تدريبات في مختلف أنحاء اليمن وإعداد تقارير دقيقة ومبنية على النتائج
• ضمان الجودة في جميع أنشطة التدريب والمحتوى التعليمي

المؤهلات المطلوبة

التعليم والتدريب

• درجة الماجستير في التربية، العلوم الاجتماعية، أو مجال ذي صلة

اللغات

• العربية: إتقان تام (C2)
• الإنجليزية: إتقان متقدم (C1)

الخبرة المهنية

• خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في التعليم وتطوير المناهج
• خبرة مثبتة في استخدام الأساليب التشاركية مع منظمات المجتمع المدني والقطاع العام
• خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في:
  • تقديم التدريبات وجلسات الإرشاد
  • تطوير المواد التدريبية وتنفيذ أنشطة التوعية المجتمعية
  • تسهيل مشاركة المواطنين في الحوكمة المحلية
  • تعزيز بيئات تعليمية تفاعلية وشاملة

الخبرة الإقليمية والتنموية

• خبرة مهنية لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في العمل داخل اليمن
• خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في مشاريع التنمية أو مع منظمات المجتمع المدني أو في القطاع العام

مهارات إضافية

• قدرة مثبتة على إعداد تقارير ووثائق تدريبية وعروض تقديمية عالية الجودة
• مهارات قوية في التيسير واستخدام تقنيات التعلم التشاركي مع جماهير متنوعة
