Al-Salam Hospital is looking for Yemeni nationals to be recruited for the following position:

Medical Doctor Daily Worker

 Location: Amran Governorate – Khamer

Contract type: Daily Worker Volunteer with MOH.

Reporting to: Senior Medical Doctor and Medical Activity Manager Priority for Amran candidates

Providing Emergency and/or routine inpatient medical care to patients/beneficiaries according to adapted and updated medical knowledge, MOH protocols, values and universal hygiene standards to improve the patients’ health conditions.

Accountabilities:

• Respect the time schedule and be at work on time.
• Apply medical knowledge and skills to diagnose and prevention.
• Carry out outpatient and inpatient consultations, prescribing the necessary treatment respecting MOH protocols.
• Keep the patient and/or his/her family informed about the illness and provide appropriate explanations about the treatment to follow, checking they have understood.
• Conduct daily ward rounds on all patients in adult ward, ITFC, Paediatrics, Neonatal, ICU, Isolation wards.
• Ensure timely emergency review of patients in the department when needed/indicated.
• Follow up the evolution of the hospitalized/IPD patients, through daily visits, consultations and examinations, prescribing the necessary treatment following MOH protocols, deciding whether they can be discharged or transferred to other departments – in collaboration with other doctors- and informing their family about the patient’s evolution.
• Ensure proper documentation of medical data and filling system.
• Fill in patient files, collect and analyse medical data and participate in medical reporting.
• Maintain good communication and collaboration with specialists and other team members.
• Prescribe medications and give detailed instructions for administration according to MOH guidelines.
• Keep updated records of patients’ illnesses, surgeries, or other medical episodes (allergic shocks, injuries etc.)
• Carry out general compliance with standing hygiene standards in all medical activities.
• Inform the line manager about any problem or complication of the patients’ illness, medical error and monitor the proper functioning of the department, equipment, or material.
• Knowledge of all MOH medical protocols and application of these protocols in the field.
• Ensure professional confidentiality is respected; ensure compliance with medical ethics. 
• Maintain good attitude and proper bedside manner towards the patient and their caretakers and the rest of the medical team.
• Obligatory attendance to morning meeting to participate in handover from night duties doctors.
• Attend staff meetings and offer suggestions. Listen to others with an open mind.
• Participate to the monthly Morbi Mortality review (MMR), Trainings, and relevant meetings.
• Attend to ABS, IPC and Blood Committees.

ER Doctors:

Day and night shifts tasks:

• Provide and ensure that the best patient care is given through emergency and medical case management.
• Register information about patients’ medical histories.
• Resuscitate and stabilize critical patients by administering medications and conducting life-saving procedures.
• Assess and make decisions whether to discharge, treat, or admit patients from the ER; consult with SMD and/or MAM, when needed.
• Examine and treat injuries and refer patients to specialist care when necessary (e.g. surgeon, gynaecologist, paediatrician, anaesthetist).
• Handover new cases that need admission to the inpatient (IPD) doctor before admission by phone.
• Maintain good collaboration with MAM/Medref and inform them about any referral cases and/or any issues in ER.

Paediatric and ITFC Doctors:

Day shift tasks:

• Conduct daily ward rounds on all patients in paediatric and ITFC units; ensure timely emergency review of patients in the department when needed/indicated.
• Closely collaborate with Paediatrician, informing him about patients of concern, new admitted cases, and clarifying management plans for complex patients.
• Support the management of pediatric malnutrition cases in the ITFC.
• Advise parents on children’s diet (emphasis on breastfeeding), exercise and disease preventive measures.
• Conduct a complete history and physical examination, review and possibly adjust the treatment plan for all new admitted cases according to MOH guidelines.
• Identify the type of immunizations needed for all patients and determine the timing.
• Ensure proper documentation of patient evaluations and treatment plans.
• Obligatory attendance to morning meeting to participate in handover from night duties doctors. Night shift tasks:
• Take handover from Day shift GP on paediatric ICU and ITFC wards at 8pm.
• Carryout ward round of critical patients in PICU, and ITFC at beginning of night shift 8:30pm.
• Provide management following MOH Malnutrition and Paediatric Guidelines
• Call Paediatrician after round to update about patients of concern and to clarify management plans for complex patients (or during round if urgent).
• Review new cases admitted from ER overnight.
• Support night shift nurses in weaning oxygen/HHFNC during shift.
• Give advice to nurses about changes in feeds/fluids based on the assessment during the night shift.
• Identify patients ready for discharge and prepare discharge paper before morning handover.
• Participate in Medical Morning Meeting and Handover to Day shift GPs. 

Neonatal Doctor:

Day shift tasks

• Conduct daily ward rounds on all patients in neonatal unit; ensure timely emergency review of patients in the department when needed/indicated.
• Closely collaborate with Paediatrician, informing him about patients of concern, new admitted cases and clarifying management plans for complex patients.
• Attend deliveries, without delay, when requested by maternity or OT to improve newborn resuscitation.
• Encourage exclusive breast feeding and advise parents about that.
• Ensure proper documentation of patient evaluations and treatment plans.
• Obligatory attendance to morning meeting to participate in handover from night duties doctors.

Night Shift tasks

• Take handover from Day shift GP on Nursery and paediatric (medical) wards at 8pm.
• Carryout ward round of critical patients in Nursery, and Paediatric(medical) at beginning of night shift.
• Provide management following MOH Neonatal and paediatric Guidelines.
• Call Paediatrician after round to update about patients of concern and to clarify management plans for complex patients (or during round if urgent).
• Review new cases admitted from ER/maternity overnight.
• Support night shift nurses in weaning oxygen/HHFNC during shift.
• Give advice to nurses about changes in feeds/fluids based on the assessment during the night shift.
• Identify patients ready for discharge and prepare discharge paper before morning handover.
• Attend deliveries, without delay, when requested by maternity or OT to improve newborn resuscitation.
• Participate in Medical Morning Meeting and Handover to Day shift GPs.

Isolation Doctor:

Day shift tasks

• Conduct daily ward rounds on all patients in isolation ward and adult IPDs; ensure timely emergency review of patients in the department when needed/indicated.
• Follow closely the orientations of IPC supervisor regarding specific measures for the isolation ward.
• Maintain close contact with IPC supervisor, communicating any issues or non-compliance to the IPC measures.
• Conduct a complete history and physical examination, review and possibly adjust the treatment plan for all new admitted cases according to MOH guidelines.
• Identify the type of immunizations needed for all patients and determine the timing.
• Ensure proper documentation of patient evaluations and treatment plans.
• Obligatory attendance to morning meeting to participate in handover from night duties doctors.

Night shift tasks

• Take handover from Day shift GP on Isolation, ER female adult ICU and adult IPD femal wards at 8pm.
• Carryout ward round of critical patients in isolation, adult ICU and adult IPDs, at beginning of night shift.
• Provide management following MOH Guidelines.
• Call Specialist after round to update about patients of concern and to clarify management plans for complex patients (or during round if urgent).
• Review new cases admitted from ER overnight.
• Support night shift ER doctor.
• Identify patients ready for discharge and prepare discharge paper before morning handover.
• Participate in Medical Morning Meeting and Handover to Day shift GPs

GENERAL HOSPITAL RULES

• Employee is not allowed to chew QAT during working hours.
• Employee is not allowed to sleep during working hours.
• Ensure proper hand washing techniques before and after procedure and between each patient.
• Ensure a clean and tidy working environment
• Observe aseptic technique for sterile procedures and cleanliness for clean procedures
• Ensure safe disposal of different wastes as per protocols
• Checking the general hygiene standards in the department and referring all anomalies to her Supervisor
• Checking the sterilization of medical and stitching material
• Not to wear rings, jewelry and watches during working hours
• Not to PUT henna and TATO during working hours
• Employee is supposed to be in working uniform during the working hours.
• Employee has to inform his/her supervisor of all the problems encountered in the work. He/She must be aware of his/her limits, abilities and knowledge. He/She must not hesitate to ask for support to his supervisor.
• It is very important to report as soon as possible any injury with medical material and to know well the MOH protocol regarding this kind of accident, in order to receive a proper treatment.
• Employee must respect the patient’s privacy, treat him with care and respect and observe neutrality and impartiality in the name of universal medical ethics regarding the people asking for health care.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Education    

• Essential: Medical Doctor diploma.
• Essential: Valid Medical Licence.

Experience    

• 2 years’ experience minimum as a Medical Doctor or in clinical work (can be within medical training).
• Desirable experience in obs and gynae, paediatrics, infectious diseases, TB, general practice, general medicine or minor surgery.

Languages    

• Arabic language essential. English desirable.

Knowledge    

• Essential computer literacy (word, excel)

طبيب عام عامل يومي

الموقع :محافظة عمران – خمر

نوع العقد :عامل يومي متطوع مع وزارة الصحة. المرجع الوظيفي :مشرف الأطباء ومدير الأنشطة الطبية ( الأولوية للأطباء المتقدمين من محافظة عمران )

تقديم الرعاية الطبية الطارئة و/أو الروتينية للمرضى/المستفيدين وفقًا للمعرفة الطبية المحدثة والمعدلة، وبما يتماشى مع بروتوكولات وزارة الصحة، والقيم والمعايير العالمية للنظافة، بهدف تحسين الحالة الصحية للمرضى.

المسؤوليات:

• الالتزام بجدول العمل والحضور في الوقت المحدد.
• تطبيق المعرفة والمهارات الطبية في التشخيص والوقاية.
• إجراء الاستشارات للمرضى الداخليين والخارجيين، ووصف العلاج اللازم وفق بروتوكولات وزارة الصحة.
• إبلاغ المريض و/أو أسرته بطبيعة المرض وتقديم التوضيحات المناسبة حول خطة العلاج، والتأكد من فهمهم لها.
• إجراء جولات يومية على جميع المرضى في الأقسام التالية: البالغين، مركز علاج سوء التغذية الداخلي(ITFC) ، قسم الأطفال، قسم حديثي الولادة، العناية المركزة، وأقسام العزل.
• مراجعة الحالات الطارئة في الوقت المناسب عند الحاجة.
• متابعة تطور حالة المرضى المرقدين من خلال الزيارات اليومية والاستشارات والفحوصات، ووصف العلاج المناسب وفق بروتوكولات وزارة الصحة، وتقرير إمكانية خروج المريض أو تحويله بالتعاون مع الأطباء الآخرين، مع إبلاغ أسرته بتطور حالته.
• التأكد من توثيق البيانات الطبية بشكل دقيق ومنظم.
• تعبئة ملفات المرضى وجمع وتحليل البيانات الطبية والمشاركة في التقارير الطبية.
• الحفاظ على التواصل والتعاون الجيد مع الأخصائيين وبقية أعضاء الفريق.
• وصف الأدوية وتقديم التعليمات الدقيقة حول طريقة الاستخدام وفق بروتوكولات وزارة الصحة.
• الاحتفاظ بسجلات محدثة لحالات المرض، العمليات الجراحية، أو أي حالات طبية أخرى )مثل الصدمات التحسسية أو الإصابات.(
• ضمان الالتزام بمعايير النظافة العامة في جميع الأنشطة الطبية.
• إبلاغ المدير المباشر بأي مشاكل أو مضاعفات في حالة المرضى أو أخطاء طبية، ومتابعة حسن سير عمل القسم والمعدات والمواد.
• الإلمام بجميع بروتوكولات وزارة الصحة وتطبيقها ميدانيًا.
• الحفاظ على السرية المهنية واحترام الأخلاقيات الطبية.
• الحفاظ على سلوك مهني ولطيف تجاه المرضى ومرافقيهم وأعضاء الفريق الطبي.
• الحضور الإلزامي لاجتماع الصباح للمشاركة في استلام وتسليم المناوبات.
• حضور الاجتماعات الدورية وتقديم المقترحات والاستماع للآخرين بعقل منفتح.
• المشاركة في مراجعات الوفيات الشهرية والتدريبات والاجتماعات ذات الصلة.
• حضور إجتماعات مكافحة العدوى(IPC) ، الدمCommittee) (Blood ، والمضادات الحيوية(ABS)

أطباء الطوارئ(ER)

المهام في المناوبة النهارية والليلية:

• ضمان تقديم أفضل رعاية ممكنة للمرضى في الحالات الطارئة.
• تسجيل المعلومات حول التاريخ الطبي للمرضى.
• إنعاش واستقرار الحالات الحرجة بإعطاء الأدوية والإجراءات المنقذة للحياة.
• تقييم الحالات واتخاذ القرار بشأن الخروج أو الرقود أو العلاج بالتنسيق مع مشرف الأطباء أو مدير الأنشطة الطبية.
• فحص وعلاج الإصابات وتحويل المرضى إلى الأخصائيين عند الحاجة.
• تسليم الحالات الجديدة التي تتطلب رقود للطبيب المناوب عبر الهاتف.
• الحفاظ على التنسيق الجيد مع مديري الأنشطة الطبية وإبلاغهم بأي حالات تحويل أو مشاكل في قسم الطوارئ.

أطباء الأطفال ومركز علاج سوء التغذية (ITFC):

المهام النهارية:

• إجراء جولات يومية على جميع المرضى في قسم الأطفال وITFC
• التعاون الوثيق مع طبيب الأطفال في متابعة الحالات المعقدة والجديدة.
• دعم علاج حالات سوء التغذية للأطفال.
• توعية أولياء الأمور حول التغذية )وخاصة الرضاعة الطبيعية(، والوقاية من الأمراض.
• إجراء فحص شامل ووضع خطة علاج للحالات الجديدة وفق بروتوكولات وزارة الصحة.
• تحديد التطعيمات اللازمة لكل مريض.
• توثيق التقييمات الطبية وخطط العلاج بدقة.
• الحضور الإلزامي لاجتماع الصباح لتسلم المناوبة.

المهام الليلية:

• استلام المناوبة من طبيب الفترة النهارية عند الساعة 8 مساءً.
• جولة على المرضى في العناية المركزة للأطفال و ITFCفي بداية المناوبة.
• تطبيق إرشادات وزارة الصحة الخاصة بسوء التغذية وطب الأطفال.
• التواصل مع طبيب الأطفال عند الضرورة لتحديث الحالات المعقدة.
• مراجعة الحالات الجديدة القادمة من الطوارئ ليلًا.
• مساعدة الممرضين في تعديل الأكسجين والتغذية أثناء الليل.
• إعداد أوراق الخروج للحالات الجاهزة قبل تسليم المناوبة صباحاً.
• المشاركة في اجتماع الصباح وتسليم المناوبة.

طبيب حديثي الولادة  Neonatal Doctor

المهام النهارية:

• جولات يومية على جميع المرضى في وحدة حديثي الولادة.
• التعاون مع طبيب الأطفال في متابعة الحالات الحرجة.
• حضور الولادات عند الطلب من قسم الولادة أو العمليات.
• تشجيع الرضاعة الطبيعية وتوعية الأمهات بأهميتها.
• توثيق التقييمات وخطط العلاج.
• الحضور الإلزامي لاجتماع الصباح.

المهام الليلية:

• استلام المناوبة من الطبيب النهاري الساعة 8 مساءً.
• جولة على المرضى في وحدات حديثي الولادة والأطفال.
• تقديم العلاج وفق بروتوكولات وزارة الصحة.
• التواصل مع طبيب الأطفال لتحديث الحالات المعقدة.
• مراجعة الحالات الجديدة من الطوارئ أو الولادة.
• دعم الممرضين ليلًا في مراقبة الأكسجين والتغذية.
• إعداد أوراق الخروج للحالات الجاهزة.
• حضور الولادات عند الطلب دون تأخير.
• المشاركة في اجتماع وتسليم المناوبة صباحاً.

طبيب قسم العزل: المهام النهارية:

• جولات يومية على جميع المرضى في قسم العزل والبالغين.
• التعاون مع مشرف مكافحة العدوى وتطبيق الإجراءات الخاصة بالعزل.
• فحص الحالات الجديدة ووضع خطة علاجية.
• توثيق التقييمات وخطط العلاج بدقة.
• الحضور الإلزامي لاجتماع الصباح.

المهام الليلية:

• استلام المناوبة من الطبيب النهاري الساعة 8 مساءً.
• جولة على الحالات الحرجة في أقسام العزل والعناية المركزة.
• تقديم الرعاية وفق بروتوكولات وزارة الصحة.
• التواصل مع الأخصائيين عند الضرورة.
• مراجعة الحالات الجديدة القادمة من الطوارئ.
• دعم طبيب الطوارئ المناوب.
• إعداد أوراق الخروج للحالات الجاهزة.
•  المشاركة في اجتماع وتسليم المناوبة صباحاً.

قواعد المستشفى العامة:

• يمنع مضغ القات أثناء ساعات العمل.
• يمنع النوم أثناء ساعات العمل.
• الالتزام بغسل اليدين قبل وبعد كل إجراء وبين المرضى.
• الحفاظ على نظافة وترتيب مكان العمل.
• اتباع الأسلوب العقيم أثناء الإجراءات.
• التخلص من النفايات الطبية وفق البروتوكولات.
• فحص معايير النظافة والتعقيم وإبلاغ المشرف بأي مخالفات.
• يمنع ارتداء الخواتم أو المجوهرات أو الساعات أثناء العمل.
• يمنع وضع الحناء أو الوشم أثناء العمل.
• الالتزام بالزي الرسمي أثناء ساعات الدوام.
• إبلاغ المشرف بأي مشكلات أو حوادث في العمل.
• معرفة حدود المسؤولية وطلب المساعدة عند الحاجة.
• الإبلاغ الفوري عن أي إصابة بأدوات طبية واتباع بروتوكولات وزارة الصحة.
• احترام خصوصية المريض ومعاملته بعناية واحترام، والالتزام بالحياد والإنصاف وفق أخلاقيات الطب العالمية.

المؤهلات والمهارات المطلوبة:

المتطلبات    

 التعليم:

• ألزامي شهادة بكالوريوس طب عام. ألزامي: مزاولة مهنة سارية المفعول.    

الخبرة:

سنتان على الأقل من الخبرة كطبيب عام أو في العمل السريري )يمكن احتساب فترة التدريب.( يفضل وجود خبرة في التوليد وأمراض النساء، طب الأطفال، الأمراض المعدية، السل، الممارسة العامة، الطب الباطني، أو الجراحة البسيطة.        

 اللغات:

• اللغة العربية أساسية، والإنجليزية مرغوبة.
