Type of Contract: Sub-Contract to Stars Orbit Consultants and Management Development / Monthly Contract
Duration of Appointment: Three (3) months, with possibility of extension subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds

Context/Reporting line:
Under the direct supervision of the Programme Manager (Shelter, Land and Site Coordination), the Programme Assistant (Monitoring and IM- Shelter, Land and Site Coordination) will assist in the implementation of Shelter, Land and Site coordination day-to-day activities.
Core Functions / Responsibilities
1. Collect, consolidate, and maintain statistical reports, including but not limited to demographic data from IDP sites, service provision and referral tracking, and visibility information related to Shelter, Land and Site Coordination (SLSC) activities.
2. Support the analysis of Shelter, Land and Site Coordination data to produce draft narrative reports, information sheets and presentations that inform programme implementation, coordination, and information management.
3. Support the implementation and completion of monitoring and assessment activities at project sites, including routine monitoring and ad hoc assessments as required in close coordination with M&E team.
4. Contribute to the timely compilation of programme reports by tracking and following up on data submissions from field teams, site focal points, and community mobilizers verifying the completeness of submitted data and following up on missing information, as required.
5. Support the Programme Manager in tracking SLSC interventions, including indicators, referrals, partner activities, and site-level service provision and, where necessary, assist in reviewing relevant tools.
6. Support the preparation, maintenance, and weekly updating of a programmatic data management system for Shelter, Land and Site Coordination activities in targeted locations and IDP sites, maintain systematic filing on the shared drive, and support compliance with project requirements.
7. Support coordination with the Shelter, Land and Site Coordination Cluster, Consortium members, and relevant partners in the implementation of multi-sectoral assessments.
8. Extract, analyze, and present status updates during weekly team meetings and for external information-sharing purposes, particularly regarding service gaps and priority needs related to the shelter, land and site coordination.
9. Support the Programme Manager in rolling out standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintaining an events tracker, and coordinating weekly service monitoring to support programme implementation and consistency.
10. Review and monitor field-level data collection to verify data quality, accuracy, completeness, and consistency, and that collected data accurately reflects assessed needs; promptly identify, flag, and address data errors or inconsistencies.
11. Performs such other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma with five years of relevant experience; or,
- Bachelor’s degree in social science discipline or information management from an accredited academic institution with three years of professional experience.
Experience and Skills:
- Experience in data management, programme support, or management field.
- Experience in the International Humanitarian Field is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality in performing responsibilities.
- Good reporting skills.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office and SAP.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability" to work effectively and harmoniously within a team.
Languages:
- Proficiency in English and Arabic is required (oral and written).
