Job Description:

The Project sit technician will be supervise and overseeing the rehabilitation and construction of project activities, (Health and WASH sectors). This role includes coordinating with local authorities and ensuring that project infrastructure aspects meet the specified timeline, BoQs, technical study and contract requirements. The Project site technician will share in hand over and initial acceptance in projects and will work closely with the Project officer and other project members to ensure the successful project execution, and supervising all construction activities, additional to preparing entitlement of project achievements 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all technical and engineering activities related to the rehabilitation and construction, WASH infrastructure, Health WASH activities inside HFs and participate in handover the projects to contractor/s besides initial acceptance too.
• Support project work plans and timelines, ensuring that activities are completed align with project timeline.
• Ensure that all designs and constructions adhere to safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
• Collaborate with the project team to identify technical requirements for WASH projects and WASH in HFs.
• submit weekly and monthly progress reports including key achievements and planning for the following period.
• Ensure the bill of quantities details (BoQ) and drawings for rehabilitation and construction aspects aligning with project budget, work plan and contract.
• Supervise the Construction/Rehabilitation works, ensuring that it is completed within timelines and in accordance with contract.
• support the formation of Water Committees and other project activities such as distribution Hygiene kits and promotion etc., 
• Establish productive working relationships with Water Committees and GARWSP government officials to promote good WASH practices.
• Conduct inspections and provide feedback to contractor/on-site to resolve any issues promptly.
• Oversee the rehabilitation/Construction works done by contractor are carried out according to quality standards.
• Certify achievement quantities of contractual milestones.
• Provide the project team with technical support and analysis.
• Prepare the project entitlements according to the project achievemt. 
• Perform any other tasks that may be assigned by the project manager align with project tasks.

Requirements (Qualification and Experience)

• Degree in technical field or field technical experience.
• At least three years of experience in technical field work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to propose appropriate solutions to identified technical needs.
