ALMUTAKAMILA (Almutakamila Yemeni Company for Electronic Financial Services) is a startup national shareholding Fin-Tech company, established under Commercial Companies Law No. (22) of 1991. Almutakamila is specialized in electronic financial services, and it uses a unified, comprehensive, robust, secure and interoperable electronic payment solution that supports all features according to the best user experience, which meet the customers’ requirements and facilitates their financial transactions and daily life.

Main duties and responsibilities: 

• Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth.
• Develop new features and infrastructure development in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements.
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design.
• Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities.
• Engage with other IT team members and business team to collect, understand and analyze new requirement.
• Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design, implementation, and deployment.
• Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end APIs and systems optimized for speed and scale. 

Requirements & Qualifications:

• University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in building large-scale software solutions.
• Experience designing, building, and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Experience building Web Applications.
• Knowledge in Android, iOS, web or Windows Mobile development.
• Developed projects for mobile applications with JavaScript, React Native and/or React.js and other modern mobile development technologies
• Strong technical background in NodeJS, ReactJS, relational and/or non-relational Databases.
• An additional plus knowing any of: Cassandra, React Native, C#, Java.
• Strong knowledge in concepts such as OAuth 2.0, monolithic applications and microservices and the difference between them.
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
• Unit/integration testing experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug errors.
• Ability to work with VCS such as GitHub.
• Managing the software development life cycle.
• Documenting with flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and code comments.
• An understanding of software engineering best practices.
• Good communication skills.
• Energy, self-motivation, a can-do, and collaborative approach.
• Fluency in English.
