Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to support our solar energy projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Local and overseeing procurement, logistics, inventory, and vendor coordination to ensure timely and cost-effective supply of materials and equipment. This role is critical in ensuring project timelines, quality, and cost targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Vendor Management

• - Source and evaluate suppliers for solar components (e.g., solar panels, inverters, mounting systems, batteries, cables, accessories, etc.....).
• - Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
• - Manage supplier relationships and performance metrics.

Logistics & Delivery Coordination

• - Oversee import/export processes and documentation (including customs clearance).
• - Plan and monitor transport routes to project sites.
• - Ensure timely and safe delivery of materials to multiple locations.

Inventory & Material Management

• - Forecast material needs for active and upcoming projects.
• - Track inventory levels, reorder points, and stock accuracy.
• - Coordinate with warehouse staff for proper storage and handling.

Project Coordination

• - Work closely with project managers, engineering, and finance teams.
• - Align procurement and delivery schedules with construction milestones.
• - Handle urgent orders, shortages, or quality discrepancies.

Cost & Risk Control

• - Monitor and control material costs vs. budget.
• - Identify and mitigate supply chain risks (e.g., supplier delays, geopolitical issues).
• - Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal requirements.

Reporting & Systems

• - Maintain accurate procurement and inventory records using ERP tools (Odoo,SAP,Oracle,).
• - Prepare regular reports on KPIs, delivery status, and cost performance.

Qualifications& Experience& Skills:

Qualifications    

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience    

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in supply chain or procurement, preferably in renewable energy or construction.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV components and technical standards (IEC, UL, etc.).
• Experience with international shipping and customs clearance.
• Experience with Local and external vendors.

Skills Preferred    

• Proficient in ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication in English.
• Certification in supply chain (e.g., CSCP, CPSM).
• Experience in fast-paced or multi-site project environments.
• Familiarity with sustainability and ESG supply chain practices.
