SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE 
Invitation for Prequalification  

Under the project titled: Enhancing Resilience of Agriculture and Food Security in Yemen funded by Japan through United Nation for Development (UNDP).

The Ministry of Water and Environment (MWE) represented by Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Project – Project Management Unit, Aden (UWSSP-PMU) A invites local Contractors, and Suppliers, to participate in the prequalification process for the Implementation of Supply, Testing, Delivery, Installation and Training of Modern Irrigation Technologies for Al- Mosaymer District – Lahj and Al-Selw District -Taiz. 

The project is located in Al- Mosaymer District – Lahj Governorate and Al-Selw District -Taiz Governorate, Republic of Yemen.  

The main components of the projects are:

A-    Supply, delivery, Testing and installation Modern Irrigation Technologies such as drip irrigation, sprinkler systems, and smart irrigation solutions.
B-    Building capacity of smallholder farmers on using and maintaining such technologies.
     
2.     Prequalification will be conducted through prequalification procedures specified in this document and is open to all local bidders (Suppliers and contractors) from Yemen. 

3. Interested bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the prequalification documents at the Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Project (UWSSP-PMU- Aden) (address below) from 9 to 12 O’clock (local time) during office hours. A complete set of prequalification document in English may be obtained by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below free with no payment before Nov 10,2025.   

4. Applications for prequalification should be submitted in sealed envelopes hard and soft copy, delivered to the address below by 13th of November 2025, and be clearly marked “Application to Prequalify for Supply, Testing, Delivery, Installation and Training of Modern Irrigation Technologies for Al- Mosaymer District – Lahj and Al-Selw District -Taiz:
