Introduction:

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an International NGO with regional competence and expertise in working with displaced populations. The Regional Office is based in Amman, Jordan with Offices and operations in Libya, Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen 
Norwegian Refugee Council invites potential Suppliers in Yemen to apply in the above tender.

Project Description:

NRC seeks qualified supply companies to bid on the Rehabilitation of Schools in Lahj, Al-Dhale, Taiz and Marib Govs.

• Reference and proof of experience (contracts/ Pos) -Compulsory.
• Detail implementation plan - Compulsory.
• Annex 2 - List of materials - Compulsory.

Only bids submitted by companies fulfilling the above criteria will be considered.

Tender Guarantee:

A separate tender guarantee of USD 4,000 must be submitted physically in a sealed envelope to one of the NRC offices listed below:(Compulsory) before the deadline 25 Jan 2026 before 15:00.

Please note that guarantees from banks facing liquidity constraints or operational challenges may not be accepted. It is the bidder’s responsibility to ensure that the issuing bank meets all regulatory and financial stability

Additional Information:

• Questions: Submit questions through the dedicated "Questioner Link Q/A" on the advertisement website (not the bid submission link). Question deadline is 19 Jan 2025.
• Site Visits: Bidder must visit the school location (Annex 3: TOR Rehabilitation of Schools and schools’ coordinates) before submitting the bids.
• Information Session: NRC engineers will be available to respond to bidders' inquiries and provide clarifications on the bidding documents during the information session, which will be conducted at NRC offices in Yemen, located in Marib, Aden, Sana’a and Taiz.
• Previous Experience: All bidders must provide a copy of relevant previous experience in the technical offer, failure to provide copies of these documents will negatively impact the bidder's technical offer score. (Highly required)
• Offer Validity: Clearly state the validity period of your offer and confirm the delivery timeline (detailed implementation plan required) (Highly required)
• Technical and Financial bids must be uploaded in a separate designated field, otherwise you offer will be disqualified.

يرجى ملاحظة أنه قد لا يتم قبول الضمانات المقدمة من البنوك التي تواجه قيودًا على السيولة أو تحديات تشغيلية. وتقع على عاتق مقدم العرض مسؤولية ضمان استيفاء البنك المصدر لجميع متطلبات الاستقرار التنظيمي والمالي.

• صلاحية العرض: حدد بوضوح فترة صلاحية عرضك وأكد الجدول الزمني للتسليم (مطلوب خطة تنفيذ مفصلة) (مطلوب بشدة)
• يجب تحميل العطاءات الفنية والمالية في حقل مخصص منفصل، وإلا فسيتم استبعاد عرضك.

ملاحظة مهمة: المجلس النرويجي للاجئين غير ملزم بقبول أي طلب أو إبداء أسباب الرفض أو القبول.
