Position: Corporate/Commercial Lawyer

Report to: Founder
Status: Full-time

Main responsibilities:

• Advising on Yemen law corporate and commercial matters
• Managing corporate compliance processes
• Researching legal and practical aspects of operating in Yemen
• Coordination with government offices
• Managing files 
• Performing and coordinating research
• Record control and coordination 
• Preparation of reports and correspondence
• Drafting all types of documents

Minimum requirements:

• Up-to-date Yemeni lawyer licence
• Fluent in Arabic and English
• At least three years’ experience in private practice
• Experience advising on corporate and commercial projects in English

Other requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of legal terminology and principles
• The ability to analyze legal documents and answer legal queries
• Self-motivated
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work to a tight schedule
• Computer literacy skills
• Filing and record management
