Main purpose
Assist with nursing activities of patients in the PHCC according to doctors’ prescriptions, protocols applied in service and universal hygiene standards/precautions, in order to ensure the quality and continuity of care for patients treated in the PHCC

Accountabilities

• Assisting the nurse in organizing and providing care and treatments to patients, respecting at all times, the rules of hygiene, safety, comfort, dignity, medical secret and patient confidentiality. Giving response to nurse’s requirements in case of an emergency
• Participating in the surveillance and monitoring of the patient and reporting to the nurse any relevant information. Compensating patients’ possible lack of autonomy by assisting and helping them in feeding, personal hygiene, movements and general comfort
• Participating in the monitoring of nursing activities (correctly fill in patient files, etc.) and ensuring a relevant transfer of information between duty teams.  Reporting any problem arising in the care unit, especially the loss, robbery or damage of equipment or medicines. 
• Ensuring cleanliness of his/her working environment (including facilities, material, linen, equipment, and carrying out the sorting and disposal of waste)
• Working together with the nurses, cleaners and care-takers. 
• Participating actively in the primary healthcare platform (meetings, committee,.), trainings and in the basic health education sessions
• Participating in any other related activities as requested by the line manager
• Performing minor maintenance and cleaning of the biomedical equipment following user manual and protocols. Alerting the supervisor in case of malfunctioning of any device.
• The above-mentioned activities and responsibilities are not exhaustive, and staff may be assigned additional responsibilities or tasks as required

MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities

Nurse Aides are responsible for assisting medical staff (nurses and doctors) with direct patient care, this would require Nurse Aides to perform their activities according to and with commitment to MSF principles. Nurse Aides are therefore reminded of the following accountabilities:

• The ability to work well within in a team atmosphere
• Be able to work flexibly within a dynamic work schedule.
• Have a good knowledge of the area including the population’s living conditions, traditions and beliefs.
• Good communication skills and behavior to maintain good relationships with patients, caretakers, staff and the local community.

Nurses Aides are also required to perform their activities in accordance and with commitment to MSF principles. Nurses are therefore reminded of the following:

• Monitor patient`s vital signs regularly
• All patients should be treated fairly, equally and without ant bias
• Staff are not allowed to chew QAT during working hours.
• Under no circumstances are firearms/weapons allowed in MSF vehicles or on MSF premises.

Requirements

Education:  Nurse-Aide diploma is required
Experience:  Desirable 1 year experience working in a healthcare setting/environment (hospital, clinic, PHCC)
language:  Local language essential. Mission language desirable

المهام الرئيسية  
المساعدة في الأنشطة التمريضية للمرضى في مركز الرعاية الصحية الأولية وفقًا لوصفات الأطباء والبروتوكولات المطبقة في الخدمة ومعايير / احتياطات النظافة العامة ، من أجل ضمان جودة واستمرارية الرعاية للمرضى المعالجين في مركزالرعاية الصحية الأولية

المسؤوليات :
•    مساعدة الممرض في تنظيم وتقديم الرعاية والعلاج للمرضى واحترام قواعد النظافة والسلامة والراحة والكرامة والسرية الطبية وسرية المريض في جميع الأوقات. الاستجابة لمتطلبات الممرض في حالة الطوارئ
•    المشاركة في التقصي ومراقبة المريض وإبلاغ الممرض بأي معلومات ذات صلة. تعويض النقص المحتمل في استقلالية المرضى من خلال مساعدتهم في التغذية والنظافة الشخصية والتحركات والراحة العامة
•    المشاركة في مراقبة أنشطة التمريض (ملء ملفات المرضى بشكل صحيح ، وما إلى ذلك) وضمان نقل المعلومات ذات الصلة بين فرق العمل. الإبلاغ عن أي مشكلة تنشأ في وحدة الرعاية خاصة فقدان أو سرقة أو تلف الأجهزة أو الأدوية.
•    ضمان نظافة بيئة العمل الخاصة به / بها (بما في ذلك المرافق ، والمواد ، والكتان ، والمعدات ، والقيام بفرز النفايات والتخلص منها)
•    العمل مع الممرضين وعمال النظافة والمرافقين.
•    المشاركة بنشاط في برامج الرعاية الصحية الأولية (اجتماعات ، لجان ،.) ، والدورات التدريبية ودورات التثقيف الصحي الأساسي
•    المشاركة في أي أنشطة أخرى ذات صلة حسب طلب المدير المباشر
•    إجراء صيانة بسيطة وتنظيف للمعدات الطبية الحيوية باتباع دليل المستخدم والبروتوكولات. تنبيه المشرف في حالة حدوث خلل في أي جهاز.
•    الأنشطة والمسؤوليات المذكورة أعلاه ليست شاملة ، وقد يتم تكليف الموظفين بمسؤوليات أو مهام إضافية حسب الاقتضاء

مساعدي الممرضين مسؤولون عن مساعدة الطاقم الطبي (الممرضين والأطباء) في رعاية المرضى المباشرة ، وهذا يتطلب من مساعدي الممرضين أداء أنشطتهم وفقًا لمبادئ منظمة أطباء بلا حدود والالتزام بها. لذلك يتم تذكير مساعدي الممرضين بالمسؤوليات التالية:
•    القدرة على العمل بشكل جيد في جو الفريق
•    أن تكون قادرًا على العمل بمرونة ضمن جدول عمل ديناميكي.
•    أن يكون لديك معرفة جيدة بالمنطقة بما في ذلك الظروف المعيشية للسكان وتقاليدهم ومعتقداتهم.
•    مهارات الاتصال والسلوك الجيد للحفاظ على علاقات جيدة مع المرضى والمرافقين والموظفين والمجتمع المحلي.
يُطلب من مساعدي الممرضين أيضًا أداء أنشطتهم وفقًا لمبادئ منظمة أطباء بلا حدود والالتزام بها. لذلك يتم تذكير الممرضات بما يلي:
•    مراقبة العلامات الحيوية للمريض بانتظام
•    يجب أن يعامل جميع المرضى بشكل عادل وعلى قدم المساواة ودون تحيز.
•    لا يسمح للموظفين بمضغ القات خلال ساعات العمل.
•    لا يُسمح تحت أي ظرف من الظروف باستخدام الأسلحة النارية في مركبات منظمة أطباء بلا حدود أو في مباني أطباء بلا حدود.
