Academic Qualifications

• Master's degree in Development Studies, Public Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum years of relevant work experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in relevant fields such as development coordination, local governance, economic development, livelihoods support, or private sector development projects is required.
• Proven experience with technical project coordination, monitoring, and evaluation in the above-mentioned areas. 
• Proficiency in conducting field monitoring and reporting on project progress is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in technical tracking of project progress, measuring achievements, and providing recommendations for adjustments.
• Familiarity with the socio-economic conditions, security situation, and cultural nuances of Marib governorate.
• Proven ability to build relationships with local communities, government officials, and implementing partners.
• Demonstrated strong technical advisory and guidance with strong ability to facilitate coordination and stakeholder engagement. 
• Proven experience in partnership building and networking.
• Proficient computer skills and use of relevant software and other applications.
• Knowledge of UNDP programme management procedures and policies, including experience with Quantum and UNALL (Resource Management System) is an asset.
• Experience of conflict analysis in the Yemen context is an advantage.

Required Language(s)  

• Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and oral.
