 Required Qualifications:

a.     Education 

A Master's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, Economics, banking, international trade finance, or foreign exchange markets is required.

b.    Experience 

• Over 6+ years of experience in banking, financial institutions, and payment systems.
• Expertise in implementing Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) and Fast Payment Systems (FPS).
• Proven track record in financial inclusion, risk management, and economic empowerment projects.
• Extensive experience in fragile and conflict-affected environments.
• Experience in capacity building, stakeholder engagement, and policy development.

Language Requirements

• English: Fluency is required. The consultant must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, as all project documents, reports, and coordination with the World Bank and UNDP will be in English.
• Arabic: Fluency is required. This would be highly beneficial for working with local partners, including CBY and financial institutions, and for understanding the specific needs of the local market.
