Job Objective
Ruya Energy Company is a subsidiary of the Hayel Saeed Anam Group (HSA), specializing in the implementation of solar energy projects. The company is currently seeking to recruit a qualified candidate for the position of Procurement & Logistics Manager.
Contribute to the planning and leadership of procurement and supply chain operations for Ruya Company in the field of solar energy, while taking responsibility for managing international and local procurement, ensuring the efficiency of logistics and shipping operations, managing warehouses and vendors, and ensuring the supply of materials in accordance with the highest standards of quality, cost, and timelines, to ensure the continuity of the company's projects and enhance its operational efficiency..

Main tasks and Responsibilities
1- Procurement & Sourcing
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for solar equipment and materials (PV modules, inverters, cables, mounting structures, BOS components).
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate with, and approve local and international suppliers.
- Review and approve RFQs, quotations, comparison sheets, and purchase orders prepared by the Supply Chain Specialist.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with technical specifications, contracts, and budget limits.
- Coordinate with engineering and project teams to align procurement with project needs.
- Coordinate with sales teams to align procurement with their needs.
2- Logistics & Supply Chain
- Manage international and local logistics operations including shipping, customs clearance, and inland transportation.
- Review and approve shipping plans, delivery schedules, and logistics documentation.
- Monitor shipment progress and ensure timely delivery to warehouses and project sites.
- Address and resolve logistics risks, delays, and escalations.
- Optimize logistics routes and costs while maintaining service quality.
3- Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Oversee inventory planning, stock control, and warehouse operations.
- Ensure accurate inventory records, audits, and reporting.
- Maintain optimal stock levels to support projects and trading activities.
- Reduce losses, damages, and obsolete inventory.
4- Team Leadership & Supervision
- Directly manage, supervise, and support the Supply Chain Specialists.
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor daily procurement and logistics activities.
- Review, validate, and approve operational outputs including procurement documents and shipment reports.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development.
5- Cost Control & Reporting
- Prepare procurement budgets and cost forecasts.
- Monitor costs against approved budgets.
- Prepare regular procurement, logistics, and inventory reports.
- Support management with data-driven insights.
6- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.
- Manage supply chain risks including shortages and delays.
- Ensure certifications, inspections, and shipping documents are compliant.
Position Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and logistics management, preferably in the solar energy or construction sector.
- Good knowledge of solar energy components and systems.
- Experience in importing and customs clearance within Yemen.
Skills
Essential Abilities/ Competencies of this job role
- Proficient in computer programs such as Excel and Odoo system, if available.
- High level of English proficiency.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, and make decisions.
- Time management and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and under challenging conditions.
