Who are we?

Bena Charity for Human Development (BCFHD) established in 1996 with the aim of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and providing humanitarian response through the implementation of various programs and projects that deliver humanitarian and development services to the community. BCFHD operates across all governorates of the Republic of Yemen in both humanitarian and development fields within several key sectors, including: Education (FE and NFE), Food Security and Livelihoods, CCCM, Health, Protection (GP – CP – GBV), (WASH), and Shelter.

Key Responsibilities

1.    Direct and complete supervision of the implementation of the project’s  activities.
2.    Responsible for the project’s teams (field and office).
3.      Responsible for submitting all types of reports to the donor and management in a timely manner. 
4.      Responsible for necessary communication regarding the project with the international partner through meetings, emails, or any other means of communication."
5.    Ensure that the project is implemented according to the standards that were previously planned
6.    Communicating with the donor and the concerned  clusters  regarding the project
7.    Submitting monthly reports/ updates to the concerned clusters.
8.    Submitting the interim  and final narrative and financial reports to the donor through the system
9.    To ensure anticipating and monitoring the risks that the project may encounter and record all potential risks of the project.
10.    Providing the  requested information and documents to the donor staff or third party authorized by the donor during monitoring visits.
11.    Participating in selecting the project’s team and building their capacities.
12.    He is responsible for planning, monitoring, and reporting to the donor, as well as sharing information with group members at the local level and partners.
13.    Any other tasks assigned in the same position.

Job Requirement

1.    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Education, Social Sciences, or related.
2.    Experience: 5+ years managing humanitarian projects, ideally with programs in Education and Child Protection.
3.    Technical skills: Strategic planning, multi-stakeholder coordination (government, NGOs, UN, etc.), risk management, donor compliance, results-based management, budget oversight, team leadership, adaptive management.
4.    Technical skills: Coordinating field activities, beneficiary follow-up, data reporting, strong communication fluency in local dialect preferred
5.    Strong ability to use computer software including Microsoft Office, emails.
6.    Ability to work under pressure and long working hours in emergencies.
7.    Fluency in English written and spoken.
