It is one of Yemen’s leading companies in the import and distribution of pharmaceuticals and medical appliances. The company represents several leading European and Arab multinational pharmaceutical and medical appliance manufacturers and provides a broad portfolio of high-quality products supplied to pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and distributors nationwide.
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Sales & Marketing Manager to lead nationwide sales operations, drive market growth, and develop effective marketing and promotional strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive annual sales and marketing strategies.
  • Lead, train, motivate, and evaluate the performance of the sales team.
  • Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and ensure consistent achievement.
  • Expand distribution channels and increase nationwide market coverage.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, institutions, and distributors.
  • Plan and implement promotional campaigns, market activation activities, and product training.
  • Analyze sales data, profitability, stock movement, and market trends, and prepare regular performance reports.
  • Coordinate pricing strategies with internal departments to ensure competitiveness.
  • Follow up with scientific offices to ensure alignment with marketing and promotional objectives.
  • Manage sales and expense targets, ensuring efficient budget utilization and cost control.
  • Contribute to preparing accurate forecasts for imported product quantities in coordination with scientific offices and the commercial management team.
  • Monitor bonus payments and scientific office expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and approved budgets.
  • Evaluate and remediate the performance of sales staff, supervisors, and scientific office teams through structured assessments and Performance Improvement Plans (PIP).

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy, or a related field. 
  • 5–10 years of proven experience in sales and marketing management within the pharmaceutical and medical appliances sector.
  • Strong understanding of the Yemeni pharmaceutical market and distribution network.
  • Proven record of achieving sales growth and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and solid experience working with KPIs and sales dashboards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM platforms.
  • Excellent command of Arabic; English proficiency is an advantage.
