Taybah Foundation for Development ( TFD )

Taybah Foundation for Development is a Yemeni development institution working in the areas of health and education. It was established in 1996 under the licence of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor No. 25. Taybah seeks to provide quality health and education services in partnership and cooperation with all concerned and interested parties in accordance with the development plans of local authorities.


Overall, Purpose

Enhance the organization's humanitarian and development presence, highlight the impact of its interventions on beneficiaries and the community, and build effective communication channels with donors, partners, media, and the local community. This will contribute to supporting program continuity, building trust, and ensuring that its message, objectives, and programs are communicated clearly and professionally, thereby strengthening community trust and enhancing its impact and sustainability.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and update institutional communication and coordination plans with partners and stakeholders to achieve the organization's objectives and comply with the requirements of approved partnerships.

  • Manage and update the organization's media and corporate communications database, and regularly and documented measure the satisfaction of partners and stakeholders.

  • Ensure the clarity of the organization's mission and vision, and oversee adherence to them in all informational, media, and corporate communications materials.

  • Supervise corporate communications with donors, government agencies, and other stakeholders, ensuring a thorough understanding of their regulatory, coordination, and reporting requirements.

  • Supervise the preparation and approval of the organization's media content and designs, ensuring their alignment with the corporate identity and approved professional standards.

  • Supervise the development and implementation of the organization's annual media plan, and monitor the dissemination and promotion of the organization's activities and programs in accordance with approved policies.

  • Monitor the publication of the organization's news and activities through the website, various media outlets, and social media platforms, ensuring the accuracy of the content and its compliance with approved guidelines.

  • Thorough knowledge of projects within the scope of the organization's work, in accordance with its approved policies, mission, and objectives.

  • Documenting the organization's activities, events, and projects using appropriate and approved methods, and maintaining them within the approved organizational systems.

  • Supervising the management and updating of the organization's website and social media platforms, ensuring their regularity and that their content aligns with the organization's identity.

  • Coordinating with project and program managers to ensure the documentation and dissemination of project activities and results according to approved reporting requirements.

  • Developing effective mechanisms and tools to enhance the organization's presence and raise awareness of its activities and programs to achieve approved communication objectives.

  • Supervising the media presence of the organization and its projects, including related technical materials, within the delegated authority.

  • Carry out any duties assigned by the direct supervisor as part of the job scope.


Qualifications and Experience

Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Media or Public Relations

Experience:
two years of experience in the field of media and public relations
