نبذة عن المشروع: مشروع "شركاء في صناعة المستقبل (2)" – المرحلة الثانية، بتنفيذ من تكتل السلام والتنمية – PDC، وبالشراكة مع مؤسسة PASS – سلام لمجتمعات مستدامة، وبتمويل من منظمة شباب بلا حدود – YWBOD ومنظمة SAFERWORLD. حيث جاء تصميم هذا المشروع من منطلق التنمية المجتمعية والاستقرار الاقتصادي التي تسعى لتحقيقها:

يُعد المعهد المهني الصناعي في مديرية المنصورة بمحافظة عدن من أقدم مؤسسات التعليم الفني في اليمن، حيث تأسس عام 1971م كهدية من دولة الجزائر الشقيقة، وافتُتح رسميًا في يونيو 1972م. ومنذ ذلك الحين، يضطلع بدور محوري في إعداد وتأهيل الكوادر الفنية والمهنية في مختلف التخصصات الصناعية تحت إشراف وزارة التعليم الفني والتدريب المهني.

تضرر المعهد بشكل كبير خلال حرب 2015م، ما أدى إلى إغلاق عدد من الأقسام المهنية وانخفاض الطاقة الاستيعابية. وفي عام 2024م، أسهم مشروع "شركاء في صناعة المستقبل (المرحلة الأولى)"، المنفذ من قِبل تكتل السلام والتنمية (PDC) ومؤسسة سلام لمجتمعات مستدامة (PASS) بتمويل من YWBOD وSAFERWORLD، في إعادة تأهيل وتجهيز ورشتي كهرباء السيارات والتمديدات الكهربائية، الأمر الذي مكّن المعهد من استعادة جزء من طاقته وفتح السنة الثالثة (الثانوية المهنية) في الأقسام المستهدفة.

وانطلاقًا من نجاح المرحلة الأولى، يهدف مشروع "شركاء في صناعة المستقبل (2)" – المرحلة الثانية إلى استكمال عملية التأهيل عبر تجهيز ورشة التبريد والتكييف، بما يعزز قدرات المعهد ويفتح فرصًا أكبر للشباب في التعليم والتدريب والعمل، وبما يساهم في تنشيط الشراكة مع القطاعين العام والخاص، ودعم جهود التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية في محافظة عدن. لذلك تتلخص أنشطة المشروع كالآتي:

• تنفيذ لقاءين تنسيقيين مع أصحاب المصلحة لضمان المشاركة المجتمعية الفاعلة.
• تجهيز ورشة التكييف والتبريد من خلال تقييم الاحتياجات وعمل جدول كميات بالمعدات والأدوات اللازمة من قبل المهندس الاستشاري وعمل (دراسة تحليلية شاملة) لاحتياجات المعهد المهني الصناعي، ومن ثم التعاقد مع المقاول بعد مرحلة المناقصة وفتح المظاريف لتنفيذ جدول الكميات تحت اشراف مباشر المهندس الاستشاري.
• تنفيذ جلسة مناصرة ودعم للمعهد المهني الصناعي مع منظمات المجتمع المدني الدولية والمحلية تهدف الى استعراض أهمية دور المعهد في المجتمع.
• إنتاج مواد إعلامية ونشرها عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، وإنتاج فيلم توثيقي للمشروع يسلط الضوء على التدخل ودور المعهد المهني وتأثيره الإيجابي في المجتمع.

Project overview: Partners in Building the Future (2) Project – Phase II, implemented by the Peace and Development Consortium (PDC) in partnership with PASS – Peace for Sustainable Communities, and funded by Youth Without Borders (YWBOD) and SAFERWORLD. This project was designed with a view to achieving community development and economic stability:
The Industrial Vocational Institute in the Mansoura District of Aden Governorate is one of the oldest technical education institutions in Yemen. It was founded in 1971 as a gift from the sister country of Algeria and officially opened in June 1972. Since then, it has played a pivotal role in preparing and qualifying technical and professional cadres in various industrial specializations under the supervision of the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training.

The institute was severely damaged during the 2015 war, leading to the closure of a number of vocational departments and a decrease in capacity. In 2024, the “Partners in Building the Future (Phase I)” project, implemented by the Peace and Development Consortium (PDC) and the Peace for Sustainable Communities (PASS) Foundation with funding from YWBOD and SAFERWORLD, contributed to the rehabilitation and equipping of the automotive electrical and electrical wiring workshops. enabling the institute to regain some of its capacity and open the third year (vocational secondary) in the targeted departments.

Building on the success of the first phase, the “Partners in Building the Future (2)” project – Phase II aims to complete the rehabilitation process by equipping the refrigeration and air conditioning workshop, thereby enhancing the institute's capabilities and opening up greater opportunities for young people in education, training, and employment, contributing to the revitalization of the partnership with the public and private sectors and supporting economic and social development efforts in the governorate of Aden. The project activities can therefore be summarized as follows:

• Holding two coordination meetings with stakeholders to ensure effective community participation.
• Preparing the air conditioning and refrigeration workshop by assessing needs and drawing up a schedule of quantities of necessary equipment and tools by the consulting engineer and conducting a comprehensive analytical study of the needs of the industrial vocational institute. then contracting with the contractor after the bidding stage and opening the envelopes to implement the bill of quantities under the direct supervision of the consulting engineer.
• Holding an advocacy and support session for the Industrial Vocational Institute with international and local civil society organizations to review the importance of the institute's role in society.
• Producing and disseminating informational materials via social media, and producing a documentary film about the project that highlights the intervention, the role of the vocational institute, and its positive impact on society.
