Action Contre la Faim is an International Humanitarian Organization established in 1979 with the mission to save lives by combating hunger through prevention, detection and treatment of malnutrition, in particular during and after emergency situations caused by conflict and natural disasters. Job Title:  FSL Field Monitor
Number of staff required: 1 Male & 1 Female
Location:  Lahj / Aden
Contract duration: until December 2025 with possibility for renewal 
Basic monthly salary (taxable): 767$ to 958$ based on experience salary calculation (excluding other benefits offered by the organization)

Position Summary

Supporting the implementation of food security programmes

Objective 1 : Collect information and data on food security:

Activities :

• Participate actively in initial training sessions, pilot surveys and debriefing 
• Carry out household surveys
• Conduct regular post distribution monitoring of beneficiary households
• Ensure coherence of collected information  
• Report any problems and constraints 
• Propose possible improvements.

Objective  2 : Implementation of Food security and livelihood activities:

Activities :

• Under the direction of the team leader, undertake food security and livelihood activities
• Help in beneficiaries and community follow up
• Explain the project’s activities and objectives to beneficiaries

Objective  3 : Represent the Organization when liaising with its partners:

Activities :

• Explain the project’s activities and objectives to partners and the population ;
• Act as a link between the Organization and the beneficiaries.
