Construction Manager

Location: Djibouti 

Experience level – 15 -20 Years in Oil and Gas Sector

Job Responsibility 

• Bachelor  degree in construction management, Mechanical  engineering or related field
• Supervising the construction activities (Specialisation for API 650 Storage Tanks )
• Monitoring project costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities and adhering to budget constraints.
• Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion
• Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with rules and safety regulations
• Overall Coordination with stakeholders
• Meet contractual conditions of performance
• Review the work progress on daily basis
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licences
• Analyse, manage and mitigate risks
• Reporting project updates, milestones and potential risks to the project manager and key stakeholders.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
• Manage and review / approve the claims / variations / Progress Reports
• Fluent in Arabic and English
• Working Experience in GCC Countries  
• API 51/653 , ASNT Level 2 , TWI
