Front-End Developer - React / TypeScript

Duty Station: 7-month contract, with possible extension- Sana’a-Yemen

You will be responsible for designing and developing the platform's web user experience, from UI/UX concepts through to production implementation, while ensuring a consistent, modern, and user-friendly experience across the platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern, intuitive, and responsive UI/UX experiences for the web platform
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interface designs
• Translate UI/UX concepts into a high-quality React application
• Build reusable and maintainable React components
• Implement complete Arabic / English and RTL / LTR support
• Integrate with backend APIs
• Implement authentication, session management, error handling, and authorization
• Develop admin and back-office applications for internal users
• Ensure consistency across screens through reusable design patterns and components
• Optimize application performance
• Ensure accessibility and cross-browser compatibility
• Apply front-end security best practices, including XSS prevention and secure authentication/token handling
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Requirements

• 3+ years of front-end development experience
• Strong knowledge of React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and user-centered design
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces
• Experience with UI/UX and prototyping tools such as Figma
• Experience with state/data-management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query
• Experience with Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or similar frameworks
• Proven experience developing Arabic and RTL interfaces
• Strong responsive web design skills
• Ability to take a product requirement and turn it into a complete UI/UX design and working implementation

 Preferable 

• Experience with Next.js
• Experience building financial, fintech, banking, or dashboard applications
• Experience with Jest and React Testing Library
• Experience building and maintaining design systems
