We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of our new initiative: “Emergency Response to Displacement and Climate Change in Yemen – Al-Dhale’e Governorate”. This project supports displaced and vulnerable children—especially girls and children with disabilities—by ensuring safe, inclusive, and quality access to education.

Position Summary

The Education Field Assistant will support the day-to-day implementation of education activities at the field level. This includes supporting school rehabilitation, distribution of teaching and learning materials, community engagement, and coordination with school staff and local authorities. The role is vital for ensuring effective and inclusive delivery of educational services to displaced and vulnerable children.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing education activities in schools and communities.
• Support school rehabilitation and the delivery of educational materials and furniture.
• Collect and verify field data related to education activities and school needs.
• Maintain regular communication with school principals, teachers, and local stakeholders.
• Help organize community awareness sessions and back-to-school campaigns.
• Facilitate the implementation of inclusive education strategies, especially for girls and children with disabilities.
• Support teachers and education officers during training and workshops.
• Prepare and submit field reports and documentation in a timely and organized manner.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in field implementation of education or community-based programs.
• Previous experience in humanitarian or NGO projects is an asset.
• Knowledge of local education systems and community dynamics.
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Fluency in Arabic is required; basic English skills are an asset.
